In the municipality of Sanxenxo (Pontevedra), opposite Playa de Major beach, you’ll find one of the largest leisure and entertainment facilities in Galicia: the Paris Dakart Karting-Recreational Area (http://www.parisdakart.com/).

With a total surface area of 60,000 m², it is open all year round and has 40 karts.

Races are also organised for groups and companies. There is also canoeing, mini-golf and organised trekking activities.

Within the incomparable setting of the Galician rias, many different companies organise excursions to the beaches of La Lanzada, Major, Montalvo, Foxos, Paxariñas, Sanxenxo, etc.

They also follow the route from Mar de Arousa to Santiago de Compostela and the Portuguese Route of the Camino de Santiago. Visits are also organised to the main wineries producing Albariño wine in the region of O Salnés.

The routes can have different durations depending on the itineraries selected. It is open all year round and there are calm horses for all ages.

Very close to the hotel you’ll find the 18-hole Meis – Monte Castrove Golf Course.

Also in the area is the 9-hole A Toxa Golf Club.

Depending on the wind, you can go to several different flying areas.

The options on offer are as follows: flying courses (spring-summer), approach course (all year round), tandem flights (in tandem with an instructor; all year round) and powered flights.

Flights last for approximately 1 hour.

This activity is totally dependent on atmospheric conditions so it is always recommended to have a back-up activity.

You can hire a boat with or without a skipper. These rides will give you the opportunity to discover inaccessible location in the ria. You can also enjoy diving, fishing and other activities.

Excursions last for one day and are available all year round except in November, December and January.

The activity can involve up to 12 people who are spread over two boats.

However, this isn’t all, in Sanxenxo you’ll also find diverse and wide-ranging activities such as:

• Excursions to Ons Island (July-August and September)
• Catamaran trips with views of the sea floor (Ria of Pontevedra). Departure from Sanxenxo and Portonovo). Lasting 1 hour and 45 min., it operates from June to 15 September.
• Parascending: Departure from Sanxenxo. Operates only during the summer season.
• Visit the O Grove Aquarium (aviary and otters). Open all year round.

• Excursions on the Black Night sailing boat lasting one or several days.
